Cookie Policy

Last updated:
This Cookie Policy explains how Psyzilla Private Limited (“Psyzilla”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit psyzilla.com.
It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, which third parties may set them and how you can control your preferences.
This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites place on a user’s device. They may store or retrieve information about the browser, device, preferences or website activity.
Some cookies are deleted when the browser closes, while others remain for a defined period or until the user removes them. Cookies may be set directly by Psyzilla or by third-party services used on the website.
How Psyzilla Uses Cookies
We use essential storage to remember consent choices and a cookie to authenticate administrators. With your permission, optional storage remembers enquiry preferences and supports our own visitor analytics. Analytics measure pages, interactions, traffic sources, device categories and visit duration to improve the website.
Preferences also control approximate location lookups. Server-side request limits and validation help prevent abuse without a separate public-facing security cookie. Server diagnostics support troubleshooting. We have not identified a load-balancing cookie, CAPTCHA cookie or public chat-session cookie in this application.
Advertising is not currently active. We do not presently use advertising cookies for ad delivery, frequency capping, measurement or personalisation.
Cookie Categories
Strictly Necessary Cookies
Our consent record stores the choice you make. The administrator cookie supports a requested authenticated session and its security. These necessary functions remain active where legally permitted. Advertising, analytics and convenience preferences are not classified as necessary.
Preference Cookies
Optional preferences remember enquiry completion, enquiry popup timing and a denied browser-location request. The Preferences category also permits approximate regional lookup. The website currently does not store separate language, display-theme or accessibility preferences. Without consent, enquiry convenience state remains only in the current page’s memory.
Analytics Cookies
Our own analytics use session storage to measure page visits, referring website origins, device categories, interactions and session duration. Approximate location can be included only when Preferences is also enabled. Google Analytics is not installed. A session identifier is pseudonymous and may be associated with a submitted enquiry; it should not be treated as guaranteed anonymous data.
Advertising Cookies
No advertising cookies or live advertising scripts are currently installed. If advertising is introduced, it may support ad display, repeated-ad limits, measurement, fraud detection and permitted personalisation or contextual ads. Before that happens, we will update the inventory and consent version, identify the provider and apply any required certified consent platform. Today’s Advertising toggle does not activate ads or authorise an undisclosed future provider.
Security Cookies
The verified security-related cookie is the strictly necessary administrator authentication cookie. Public form protection currently uses server-side validation and rate limiting rather than a separate security cookie. Any future optional security technology will need assessment and, where required, consent.
Cookie and Storage Inventory
This inventory records the technologies implemented in the application. Only administrators receive the authentication cookie. Optional keys are created only when the matching category is allowed and the relevant feature is used.
| Cookie or storage key | Provider | Purpose | Category | First/third party | Duration | Consent required |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
psyzilla_customerHTTP cookie | Psyzilla | Keeps customers signed in. HttpOnly; SameSite=Strict; path /api/customer/auth; Secure in production. Separate from administrator access. | Strictly necessary / security | First party | 7 days; cleared on logout. | No — set only when you sign up or log in. |
psyzilla-cookie-consentLocal storage | Psyzilla | Records category choices, consent version and timestamp. | Strictly necessary | First party | Choice valid for 180 days, then renewed; browser record remains until replaced or cleared. | No — remembers your privacy choice. |
psyzilla_adminHTTP cookie | Psyzilla | Authenticates administrators. HttpOnly; SameSite=Strict; path /api/admin; Secure in production. | Strictly necessary / security | First party | 8 hours; cleared on logout. | No — set only during administrator authentication. |
psyzilla-anonymous-session-idSession storage | Psyzilla | Pseudonymous analytics session identifier; can link to an enquiry when analytics is allowed. | Analytics | First party | Browser tab session; removed on withdrawal. | Yes — Analytics. |
psyzilla-previous-pathSession storage | Psyzilla | Records navigation context for page-view analytics. | Analytics | First party | Browser tab session; removed on withdrawal. | Yes — Analytics. |
psyzilla-enquiry-schedule-v3Session storage | Psyzilla | Remembers enquiry popup timing between page visits. | Preferences | First party | Browser tab session; removed on withdrawal. | Yes — Preferences. |
psyzilla-enquiry-completedLocal storage | Psyzilla | Remembers a successful enquiry to avoid further automatic enquiry prompts. | Preferences | First party | No automatic expiry; until cleared or consent is withdrawn. | Yes — Preferences. |
psyzilla-enquiry-completedSession storage | Psyzilla | Remembers successful enquiry completion within the browser tab. | Preferences | First party | Browser tab session; removed on withdrawal. | Yes — Preferences. |
psyzilla-gps-deniedLocal storage | Psyzilla | Remembers a denied location request to avoid repeated prompts. | Preferences | First party | No automatic expiry; until cleared or consent is withdrawn. | Yes — Preferences; precise location also needs browser permission. |
Session storage normally lasts for a browser tab’s session; browser restoration can preserve it. Local storage has no browser-enforced expiry unless specified. A reporting window in an analytics dashboard is not a deletion deadline for server records.
No application IndexedDB databases, advertising pixels, CAPTCHA embeds, social-media iframes or embedded chat were found in the audit. WhatsApp and social icons are outbound links, not embedded widgets. Legacy analytics-choice and old popup-schedule keys are removed as the new consent controls initialise; they are no longer used to authorise processing.
Google AdSense
Psyzilla may use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, identifiers or similar technologies to deliver advertisements, measure performance, prevent fraud and personalise advertisements where legally permitted and consented to.
AdSense is not currently loaded on this website. If introduced, information made available to Google may include the visited page URL, IP address, browser and device information, general location, cookie or advertising identifiers, and advertisement impressions and interactions.
You can review Google advertising personalisation through Google Ad Settings. See how Google processes information from websites using its services. Psyzilla does not control Google’s independent processing.
Google advertising will not be loaded before consent where required. A Google-certified consent management platform is required where Google’s publisher rules specify it; our current preference panel does not claim that certification. Neither policy page displays advertisements.
Similar Technologies
In this policy, “cookies” can include comparable storage and access technologies, including local storage, session storage, scripts and identifiers. The inventory distinguishes actual cookies from browser storage. We do not currently use advertising identifiers or tracking pixels.
Server logs record operational request information for diagnostics and security. Logs are not browser cookies and cannot be erased by clearing browser storage. Details about personal-data processing, retention and rights are in our Privacy Policy.
First-Party and Third-Party Technologies
First-party cookies are set by Psyzilla’s website. Third-party technologies come from external services whose privacy practices may also apply. We do not control the lifespan or independent processing of every third-party technology.
The verified cookie and storage entries above are first party. The site may fetch fonts from Google Fonts and images from Unsplash; these requests disclose ordinary network information to the provider. They are not evidence that an advertising cookie is installed. No third-party advertising cookies were observed in our application audit.
With Preferences enabled, location services use ipapi.co, with a BigDataCloud fallback. Browser-permitted precise location is sent through our service to OpenStreetMap’s Nominatim for reverse geocoding. These network services are described in the Privacy Policy; we do not invent cookie names or retention periods for them. External sites, including WhatsApp, apply their own controls after you follow their links.
Your Consent Choices
Optional categories are off until you make an affirmative choice. Continuing to browse does not enable them. We apply this opt-in default globally, so you do not need to disclose your location to receive the controls.
- Accept All: enables the disclosed optional categories, subject to browser privacy signals. No advertising scripts are currently available to load.
- Reject Non-Essential: keeps only essential technologies active without preventing ordinary site access or enquiries.
- Manage Preferences: lets you choose Preferences, Analytics and Advertising separately. Strictly Necessary stays active.
Your choice is recorded with a version and timestamp for up to 180 days. A new consent version, an invalid record, expiry or cleared site data prompts a fresh choice. If browser storage is blocked, your selection applies in memory for the current page and cannot be remembered across visits.
Changing or Withdrawing Consent
Use Cookie Settings on this page or in the shared footer at any time. Select Reject Non-Essential to withdraw all optional categories, or change individual choices and select Save Preferences. Accept and Reject have equal visual prominence.
Withdrawal stops future optional requests, stops analytics timers, cancels pending requests where possible and removes the optional first-party storage listed above. It does not erase server records already received or recall data already transmitted to providers. Contact us about those records; third-party services and browser location permissions may require separate controls.
Precise browser location is never requested merely because you accept cookies. Use my location is a separate action and still requires browser permission. You can revoke that permission in your browser.
Regional Cookie and Consent Requirements
Cookie and similar-technology requirements vary by jurisdiction. Psyzilla applies region-appropriate controls where required by applicable law.
Our current controls use a common protective default worldwide: optional categories are disabled until selected, with equally accessible acceptance, rejection, granular settings and withdrawal. This supports the prior-consent approach used for non-essential technologies in the UK and EEA. Optional categories are not preselected.
US state requirements differ. We respect Global Privacy Control by keeping Advertising off, including after Accept All. Covered sale, sharing and targeted-advertising opt-outs must also be respected where applicable. No such advertising integration currently operates here.
In India, we provide clear notice and withdrawal where consent is the basis, taking account of applicable commencement dates. UAE mainland, DIFC and ADGM requirements are distinct. Australian requirements include transparent notice and applicable privacy and direct-marketing choices.
China can require separate or explicit consent for particular sensitive-data, advertising or cross-border processing activities. Targeted advertising for mainland China would require specialist review before launch. Other local consent or opt-out requirements apply where relevant. These statements do not claim that every country has identical rules.
Browser Controls
Your browser usually lets you delete cookies, block cookies or third-party cookies, clear site data, and use private-browsing modes. Blocking essential storage may affect authentication or our ability to remember your choices.
Private browsing does not stop all third-party information collection. Clearing browser data does not delete information already received by our servers or external providers. Browser location permission is managed separately from cookies.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our website, advertising partners, technologies or legal obligations change. The revised version will be published on this page with an updated ‘Last updated’ date.
We review the inventory when scripts, analytics, advertising, forms, authentication, embeds or the consent platform change. Material changes to optional processing require a fresh choice through an updated consent version.
